The thing about Annie being gone half the week every week was that Diego was the very familiar with the "my girlfriend has been gone for awhile and I'm getting antsy and on edge" feeling. Sure, other people could probably go a couple days without sex and handle it just fine but, well, he and Annie had their (very frequent) habits. So, the feeling was something he recognized almost immediately.

The problem was that it usually didn't kick in until Wednesday. Annie had just left this morning.

He couldn't quite put his finger on what the problem was until he remembered it was spring, and he had just talked about this. And he knew Annie wouldn't want to miss out (and, selfishly, he wanted her here). So he shot off a text.

911, SOS, come home ASAP the thing is happening. I'm getting gatorade and protein bars delivered.

That was subtle enough, right?

Yeah, these two were so good at not being distracted while naked.

Annie finally decided to be cooperative, at least to the degree that she wasn't actively getting in the way anymore and even lifted her hips to help. But also --

"Remember when I first moved in and we had that clothing ban?" she teased, shifting to kiss along Diego's jaw. "I'm declaring another one."

RIP any delivery guys and/or siblings who decided to cross that threshold this week.

"Is that an official decree?" Diego said, pressing a kiss to the side of Annie's knee once it was exposed. "Should we get it in writing?"

"It's very official," Annie assured him, shifting her knee playfully in response. "I can go get a pen and write it down. But this is also a democracy, so you're allowed to vote against it, of course."

"I would never vote against that," he said as he pulled off her leggings all the way and tossing them aside.

And of course with all that bare skin exposed Diego's hands immediately went to Annie's legs, sliding them along her thighs slowly.

"Much better," Annie decided, giving Diego a sly little smile as she indulged in a long, languid, head-to-toe stretch under his hands. The pollen, true to last year, was still good at dispelling any hint of shyness Annie might be inclined to feel about being looked at -- she had great legs, he appreciated them, and there was only good things to be had by in leaning into that. "And if you voted against a clothing ban, I'd probably check to see if you were replaced by a pod person."

But it was important to her that he know he had the option.

"That's probably a good gauge to go by," Diego said, trailing off a little as he watched Annie. There we so many things he wanted to do that he didn't know where to start.

It was a good thing they had plenty of time on their hands to do it all.

Eventually settling himself over her to kiss her again won out. Kissing usually won out.

Kissing was just kind of a great starting point for so many of Annie's favorite activities, and it had the added benefit of usually helping Annie kind of ground herself back in reality when she started getting caught up in feelings or overwhelmed.

And right now, she was having similar issues with being overwhelmed by possibility, so kissing was more than welcome. She immediately hooked her leg around his again -- not quite as close together as they'd been prior to clothing removal, but definitely headed there -- and wasted no time in getting both hands on Diego's chest. "You already feel so good."

"So do you," he murmured, nipping at her jaw. One of his hands slid down between her thighs, just stroking the skin there softly for now. "You always do."

Annie hissed out a breath as soon as she felt Diego touch her. As keyed up as she already was, pretty much all touching was making her feel like her skin was a few seconds from maybe just actually catching on fire as it was. She skimmed her hand down his chest to lightly scratch her fingers over one hip as she tilted her head to kiss him, just a touch more aggressive about it than she had been before.

It really didn't take much to wind Diego up even more with the pollen in the air, but the scratching and aggressive of kissing would have done it even if it wasn't there.

Diego returned the kiss eagerly, using his free hand to curl into Annie's hair. The other hand moved from her thigh to where she (likely) wanted it the most, though he didn't press in right away. It was teasing and he knew it, but consider it revenge for earlier.

"That's not nice," Annie scolded -- though 'scolded' might have been overselling it a bit given the way she was mumbling it between kisses and shifting her hips to try to encourage more of that. Her hand tightened on his hip, trying to draw him against her again.

"You weren't nice earlier," Diego reminded her. He settled himself over her again, but didn't move his hand from where it was. "Remember that?"

"I remember helping you with your clothes," Annie argued, which was not really the case at all, and decided that biting his neck would help underscore her point about how very, very much she would like him to move his hand. Just a little. "What if I say please?"

Diego's breath hitched some at the bite. "You should give it a try."

Annie bit her way up his neck to his ear, because pollen or not, some things were just better whispered. "Please. I need more, Diego. I need you, please."

Look, she even said it twice.

God, that was unfairly hot. Diego had asked for it, yes, but he wasn't expecting her to sound like that.

Diego couldn't not give Annie basically anything she wanted after that. He slowly pressed a finger into her, leaning down to muffle his own moan with a bite to her shoulder.

And that moan-bite combo was unfairly hot to Annie, in turn, and here she had thought she couldn't actually get more turned on than she already was.

She hiked her leg a little higher around Diego's waist as encouragement, if her own totally-unmuffled moan wasn't enough, and the bite she issued to his neck in response was absolutely sharper and more likely to leave a mark than her previous efforts -- especially since she immediately fastened her mouth to the skin she'd bitten and deliberately attempted to suck a bruise into it.

Diego cursed, though what exactly was said was muffled against Annie's skin. He wasted no time adding a second finger, pumping them at a steady, unhurried pace.

That steady, unhurried pace was doing a lot for Annie, especially since it was keeping her from getting too ahead of herself. She was already having a hard time focusing, between how Diego's fingers felt and how sexy he looked and sounded, and how great this already was, and --

Pollen really was the best time of the year.

"So good," she contributed softly, arching up to try to take his fingers deeper. She wound an arm haphazardly across Diego's back, clinging tightly. "Can we -- can we sit up? I wanna be in your lap."

Preferably without those fingers being removed, if they could swing it.

"Yeah," he said, sounding breathy just from watching her reactions right now. He had absolutely no intention of moving his fingers, but he did move to wrap his other arm around Annie's waist to help her sit up without jostling them too much.

Annie was grateful for the support, especially since it allowed them to change up the position without having to break apart at all. (Annie was now at the point where the idea of breaking apart for pretty much any reason was outright unbearable.)

"Perfect," she breathed, the word catching in her throat as she shifted against his hand to straddle his lap. One of the reasons she'd wanted to move things around was because she felt this was entirely too one-sided at the moment, and thus one of Annie's hands was once more snaking down Diego's body to wrap around him. Gone was that light touch from earlier, as Annie wasn't really in the mood to tease anymore. Instead, she actually tried to focus and match her strokes to the rhythm Diego was using on her, because it was hot and romantic and this was a team effort, start to finish.

Diego moaned softly, hips jerking up into Annie's hand. It felt like he couldn't get close enough to Annie at the moment, but the change of position helped.

"I need you," he murmured, tilting his head up for another kiss. "Like this."

Annie's mind went completely blank at hearing those words from him, and a little shiver actually passed through her as she moaned an affirmative into the kiss. Yes, please. The feeling was clearly mutual. She slid one arm around Diego's shoulders to stay as close as she could, save for how she still had a hand between them to line everything up.

When she finally shifted her hips to ease over him, her movements were slow and deliberate. She knew on some unconscious level that they'd both need time to adjust to the new sensation if they had any hope of pacing themselves. (And Annie, of course, was adjusting somewhat vocally to how mind-emptyingly amazing this already felt, but that was also to be expected.)

Diego's hands immediately went to Annie's waist, squeezing tightly, both to steady her and to keep himself from losing it right away. He loved the pollen, the pollen was great, but it did nothing for his stamina.

The noises she was making were not helping with that either, by the way.

He buried his face against her neck, trying to take a few steadying breaths as he got used to the sensation.

"You feel so fucking good," Annie mumbled, attempting to steady her own breathing as she lightly traced her nails down his back. "Nothing feels as good as you do."

That was true for Annie most of the time, but it was especially true with all the pollen adding to everything and her, yes, significantly lowered stamina and willpower. But it only took her a moment before she was rolling her hips down against Diego's and trying to tilt her head to kiss him as she gently -- for now -- moved in his lap.
