MHA # 2 | Tuesday Evening

Yesterday was a...success? If one could call beating the shit out of a guy in a stupid looking uniform a success. It hadn't really done a lot to make Diego feel better overall, but at least he felt like he did something other than sit there twiddling his thumbs.

Now he really didn't have much to do until class on Friday (where he was determined not to go down so easily next time!), so he was having a quiet evening in with American Ninja Warrior on TV and a protein shake because his cooking skills were non-existent and that counted as dinner.

"I'm sure it would." In like a knee-weakening sort of way, maybe. "And seriously, I won't let you hurt me." Annie reached up and gently traced the edge of the welt on her chest, her touch light as she looked down at him. "I'm okay. Promise."

She really wasn't especially incapacitated. If she had to overpower him -- or just wanted to -- she could and would. She was just sort of enjoying watching him take care of her.

Diego was happy with that response, as evidenced by the fact he was settling himself between her legs. He placed a kiss against one of her thighs, running his fingers down the other one.

Annie gave a little involuntary shudder of anticipation, breathing out a soft little, "Fuck."

The thigh he'd kissed shifted under his touch, though Annie was sort of trying to hold still for him.

(But wasn't it flattering how she was already having trouble with that?)

It was pretty flattering, yeah. Luckily he had anticipated that little bit of movement, at least, so she was spared any stern looks.

Diego did put both hands on her hips to help keep her still, careful of not brushing against where she had been hit. He bit down on her inner thigh, just to test that hold a little. And to be a tease. He could manage both.

"Diego."

Annie meant for that to come out a lot more demanding and stern, instead of the soft plea it ended up sounding like.

Her hips did shift a little -- or, at least, she tried to move and was met with resistance, and that was kind of dizzyingly hot in and of itself. She slid a hand along his shoulder, her touch a lot less deliberate and exploratory than it had been moment ago, and instead more desperate, like she just kind of needed to hold onto him in some capacity.

That had Diego letting out his own little pleased hum, nipping at her thigh again lightly. He dug his fingers a little harder into her hips, figuring it would be needed when he ducked his head down to lick at her.

Going down on someone helped with the healing process, right?

It at least certainly helped provide the much-needed distraction she was after.

"Fuck, I love you," Annie murmured, moving that hand from his shoulder to the back of his head and trying to squirm around a little bit to try to get a leg over his shoulder. (And to feel his fingers against her hips, which she kind of loved.)

Again, blatantly breaking the no-moving rules, but she also might have been trying to see how much she could get away with.

It was kind of hard to enforce the no-moving rules when she was doing stuff like that. He let go of one hip to encourage her to get her leg over his shoulder. Freeing up the one hand had the added benefit of being able to press in a finger beside his tongue a moment later.

"You're so good," Annie mumbled, her hips definitely trying to arch up a little before she let out a soft moan at that bit of resistance still. It wasn't even that he was really stopping her from moving so much as that Annie really liked that he was trying to stop her.

She skimmed her foot against his back, just kind of needing an outlet for how things were already starting to build in the best way, and her other hand rested on her own chest, her fingers idly tracing the curve of one breast.

If Diego wasn't so focused on what he was doing and looked up that view would be doing a whole lot for him. But he was pretty focused, not just because he enjoyed doing it, but Annie had been through a lot today and if he could distract her for a few minutes then he didn't even need anything in return.

It'd be nice, but he would deal.

He moved his hand faster, pressing in a second finger as he bit down on her thigh again.

Annie wouldn't be able to reciprocate in kind, anyway. Like, she was of course physically able, and the desire was present...but there were some things she was still working through, and a panic attack would probably really, really kill the mood.

But that didn't mean she wouldn't still try to look after his needs, once she had the focus to think about anything but how good this felt, because yes, he was absolutely succeeding at distracting her.

Her leg tightened a little over his shoulder, as did her grip on his head, and Annie tipped her own head back with a soft sigh. Her free hand traced along her own skin, mindful of the welt on her chest as she experimentally brushed a thumb across a nipple. (If he'd been watching, she might have stopped out of shyness; since he wasn't, she was feeling bold enough to see what felt good.)

Diego groaned, loving her hand in his hair. He might need to consider the long hair thing one day; this very well might be the reason future!Diego had it.

He pressed his fingers in harder, ducking his head to slip his tongue between them again.

"Close," Annie warned him, sounding fairly strangled as she slid her fingers through his hair, grabbing enough to tug lightly. (If she'd known what he was thinking, she would have absolutely endorsed this idea. As it was, she hadn't even connected the dots on how much she liked pulling on his hair and the fact that his future self apparently had a mane or whatever.) "Fuck, Diego, you're going to make me come."

Just in case that wasn't actually what he was going for, here. Seemed likely, though.

That had been his goal, yes. He did find the warning hot, so he was more than happy to hear it. It spurred him on to thrust his fingers in a little harder, thumb circling her clit.

"Oh my God, that's perfect, don't stop --" Annie mumbled, barely even aware of what she was saying because it felt so amazingly, head-emptyingly great.

It was barely a few seconds more before she was clenching around his fingers, her leg squeezing his shoulder as all of that babbling fell apart into a wordless moan.

Consider Annie very thoroughly and successfully distracted.

Diego pumped his fingers a few more times, letting her ride that out for a few moments. When he pulled back he looked pretty pleased with himself, crawling up the bed to flop down beside her.

"I love how smug you always look after," Annie noted after a moment, smiling over at him and shifting onto her side with a relaxed, languid stretch. "Like you won something. You're so fucking cute about it."

She might have been a little biased on this.

"I did win something," he said, leaning in to kiss her.

Well, really, Annie felt like she was the winner here, but she was hardly inclined to argue with him.

Especially when there were kisses, and she could instead shift a little closer to lightly run her hand along his side, her touch light and lazy and slow for the moment.

Diego leaned towards that touch, still mindful to not press himself against her completely like he usually would. He nipped at her lip lightly, obviously not too worried about treating her like she was made of glass right now.

See, so far one of the biggest drawbacks to being shot in the torso is having to hold back a little at times like these, because Annie was also resisting the urge to just meld her body against Diego's.

But there was nothing at all wrong with her hands, and she was demonstrating as much given how she'd reached forward to lightly rest her free hand on his chest while the other dipped a little lower to run a fingertip just under the waistband of his shorts.

She also nipped at his lower lip in return, just for good measure.

"You don't have to," he murmured once he felt her hand move lower. "You're hurt."

"I never have to," Annie replied softly, kissing the corner of his mouth. "But I love you, I'm not hurt that badly, and I want to. Unless you don't want...?"

She smoothed her hand over his hip in lieu of finishing her sentence, and shifted to press a soft kiss to his neck.

"I definitely want." That was visibly obvious. He shifted again to make this easier on Annie, not noticing how much the ice pack had moved while they were busy focused on other things.

Oh well, they'd notice soon enough.

It would surely only be a welcome surprise!

Annie smiled, and with that go-ahead, she slid her hand lower, pressing her palm lightly against the front of his shorts and cupping him through the fabric. "Yes, you definitely do," she murmured, kissing him again.
