Vought Tower | Thursday Afternoon
What was supposed to be a twenty-four hour visit had somehow turned into a "I guess I'm staying here until the portals start working again" visit. Diego was happy to have the extra time with Annie, even if there was some obvious distance between them at the moment. If anything spending more time with her was the only way to figure out what the issue was.
The bad thing was that he had only packed for a twenty-four hour visit. After much grousing, where Diego tried to convince Annie he could just spend the rest of time in sheets or towels while his one outfit was being washed, he gave in and wore The Seven merchandise that she had managed to get for him.
He refused to go out in public wearing this stuff, but he was fine hanging around Annie's apartment wearing Queen Maeve merch. The colors suited him, at least.
[Open to the gf and calls/texts. NFB due to distance! And NWS]

He tightened his grip on her hips, using it as leverage to press his hips up to match her rhythm. Which was much easier this time around, it turned out.

Instead, she picked up a little bit of rhythm, riding him just a bit harder as her breathing started to get a little bit ragged. "I love you," she mumbled, shifting that hand from the back of his neck to grip onto the back of the couch for more leverage.

He leaned up to kiss Annie again, though it wasn't exactly coordinated right about now. It was something he needed to do.

Kissing him meant she could focus on that, and not on the way she could feel a pleasant sort of warmth building up inside her, too. She wasn't paying attention to that. It was like a ghost, or something, okay? If she looked at it, it might go away like it had on Monday.

He wrapped one of his arms around Annie's waist to keep her steady while the other one went under her skirt, navigating through the tulle to circle this thumb against her clit.

"Diego," she mumbled, out of breath. "Please --"
She wasn't really sure what she was requesting, here. Don't stop? Stay with her? Also don't jinx it?

She didn't break anything this time, but when she came, her eyes lit up bright enough to be very visible even here in her fairly-sunlit living room.

Diego wasn't that far behind her. He had been close already, but seeing and feeling her come was enough to tip him over. He made an attempt to be quiet, at least, biting down on Annie's shoulder as he came to muffle the moan he let out.

(Thankfully, one was not.)
Annie was trembling, but smiling, as she pressed a soft kiss against Diego's temple and relinquished the grip she had on his shoulder.
"I love you too."

That relief was probably pretty understandable.
"I vote that we don't try to find you a portal until tomorrow," she added softly, gently tracing her hand along his back.
She didn't really feel like she needed to explain why.

They really should make up for the last couple days.

And also her apartment was enormous and they'd only done it on the couch and in the bed so far, you know? Lots of lost time to make up for.
