A Hotel in Mexico | Wednesday Afternoon
It had been a really, really good honeymoon so far. Sure, they hadn't found any untouched ancient ruins to explore and potentially break, but they had been to the beach a lot, and seen some truly awesome views.
And there was also the part where they'd occasionally spend a day not leaving the hotel suite, like today. Those days were just as good. Shame it'd be over in a few days.
"Look, this food has been great," Diego said, looking over the room service menu. "But I'm actually kind of dying for a cheeseburger right now."

...yeah, no. But you know what? Annie was still all flushed and practically glowing from sex. A milkshake would go great with all of that, thank you. And they were on their honeymoon!
(She would probably die a quiet death in the hotel lobby at some point upon making eye contact with staff members, though. Her time would come.)

Regardless of whether there was rapidly cooling fries outside the door or not, she needed a kiss to fortify her for the journey to the door, thank you.

For getting out of bed so he didn't have to.

Annie bounced over to the door and opened it the tiniest, tiniest crack just in case there was someone out there who didn't want (or need) to see some chick on her honeymoon who was clearly seeking sustenance between rounds of sex. And no, there was not, but there was a little platter with a cloche over it, and a tall cup.
So, it was a pink-cheeked Annie who returned to the bed, carrying the food and sipping from her shake with a slightly-sheepish shrug.
"This is super good," she said as she slid back onto the bed with him, declining to comment on how they had obviously traumatized whoever had brought it to their door.

She was kind of over apologizing for having or wanting sex, these days. (Again: especially on her honeymoon!)

Like, everything from the day they were married to now was maybe the happiest she had ever been, and it absolutely showed.

Also, they apparently did have ranch dressing in fancy Mexican resorts, so that was a relief for Annie's delicate Iowan sensibilities.
"It's gonna be hard to go back to reality." At least they had a few days, still.

Summer was probably already working on it, actually, knowing Summer.
It was a little weird, of course, because without the wedding occupying a lot of her time, Annie really was going to have to face how much free time she had here in the wake of having blown up her career, but psh. That was a minor crisis for when they did, in fact, return to reality.
