May. 15th, 2022 10:40 amOne second you, your brother and your girlfriend are attempting to time travel together, the next you're superhero landing in some dark alleyway. Diego looked around for signs of Annie and Five, but was quickly distracted by a scream coming from the street.
He ran towards the noise. Since he was in full on superhero mode so he didn't notice odd things like the woman's clothing being old fashioned, the cars being old fashioned...everything being old fashioned.
The screaming woman in question had been mugged, with her assailant running down the street with her purse. Diego whipped out a knife and threw it, trapping the guy against a telephone pole. It was easy enough to knock the guy out and give the lady back her purse.
It was only then he realized that things were kind of weird here. He turned in a circle, trying to gauge where or when the hell he was, stopping when he faced an electronics store. The TVs for sale (most definitely not flat screen) were all playing the same thing, a news report about President John F. Kennedy. Who was apparently alive and well.
