MCA #9 | Tuesday Morning

Diego was a gentleman last night and walked Annie home after her shift at the bar. What happened after wasn't very gentlemanly per se but it was enjoyed on both sides. Sleep happened eventually but only after what was probably considered an obscene amount of cuddling.

The cuddling thing was kind of still happening even while Diego was still asleep this morning. He had whatever limb he could wrapped around Annie. Maybe this was why his code name was The Kraken?

"Diego, I -" Damn it, this was going to end sooner than she'd like, and Annie's hands tightened against his. She was conscious not to hurt him, as always, but it was almost even easier to hold him in place without thinking about it, now. And really, it would probably be ending even sooner if she was letting him touch her, all things considered.

Annie would have felt self-conscious about the sighing, ragged noises she was making if she didn't strongly suspect Diego liked hearing them - and on that note, of things she was recently learning not to be shy about, Annie opened her eyes to look at him. Because she knew he liked seeing her eyes do their thing, and by the time she was even considering saying she was close, she was already there - her eyes lighting up with that accompanying shimmery noise they made, even as she shuddered and cried out.

Christ, he was never going to get tired of that. Between the teasing and just watching Annie let go like was enough to ensure that he wouldn't be far after her.

It only took a few more pumps of his hips before he was coming, squeezing Annie's hands with force that he would have felt bad about if she wasn't who she was. He would have been self-conscious about the gasping noise he made too if he was so sure that she liked it.

She loved it, yes.

Annie carefully, slowly let go of his hands before gently - so, so, so consciously gentle now - moving off of him and settling onto her side.

It would take a moment before she would have both her breath back and the wherewithal to actually talk, but for the moment Annie was content to draw one of Diego's hands up to her mouth to press a kiss where she'd been holding him by the wrist earlier, looking a little bit shy now that that was all over.

Diego smiled softly at that because that was really cute after all the dirty stuff they just did. He leaned in a moment later to kiss her because there was really no need to be shy about all that. It was clear they had both enjoyed themselves a lot.

Annie leaned into the kiss, reaching a hand up to touch his face, at least in part because seriously, the not-touching had been fun but now she was going to have to make up for it.

"I didn't hurt you?" Look, she had to be sure, given how little she'd held back. Obviously she hadn't broken his wrists or anything, but still. She'd be suspiciously checking him for bruises for days, no matter what he said.

"You didn't hurt me," he said, nuzzling his cheek against her hand. "You're amazing."

Annie bit her lower lip, breathing out a little sigh as she traced her thumb along his cheekbone. "So are you."

Seriously, just the fact that she could show so much of herself to Diego was sort of incredible. New and exciting and sexy, yes, but also just sort of...special and sweet in a way, for Annie.

"It's official then," Diego said, giving her another quick kiss. "We're both amazing."

"And modest," Annie noted, smiling into the kiss. "Okay, seriously, you have to promise to tell me if your wrists hurt later, or I'm never doing that again."

Serious threats, there.

"I promise," he said with a wry smile. "Bruises don't count, right?"

"Oh my God, do you think I bruised you?" Annie asked, eyes widening in mild alarm as she reached for the wrist she hadn't kissed yet. "Bruises don't count, but I still want to know. I barely held back at all."

"It looks fine so far," he said, just a touch amused by her distress. "I promise to wear long sleeves to the party just in case."

He was gonna do that anyway.

"Good," she replied, pressing a soft kiss to that wrist, now. "Long sleeves with tinsel, I hope. And a Santa hat. But I'll feel bad if I gave you bruises, anyway."

"Tinsel and a Santa hat," he promised. "I suppose it's no use trying to convince you to not feel bad?"

"I mean." Annie cut her eyes to his, smiling slowly. "Not so bad that I wouldn't do it again."

As long as he really wasn't hurt!

"That's what I wanted to hear," he said, smiling. "I don't know if you could tell but I liked it a lot."

"I could tell," Annie assured him with a soft laugh, her cheeks coloring a little in spite of herself. "I had a feeling you might be into that."

She hadn't really anticipated being so into it herself, honestly.

“I’m going to have to return the favor sometime,” he teased, pressing a kiss to her neck. “I might not be able to hold you down but I’m definitely strong enough to pick you up.”

"Mmm." Okay, the prospect of Diego picking her up just opened up like, a whole world of possibilities in Annie's mind, and she'd just be over here biting her lip and obviously considering that for a second. "Yeah, you definitely could."

“Occasionally I am struck with a flash of brilliance,” he joked, wrapping an arm around her to get his cuddle on again. Seriously, Kraken had been an apt name.

That was another one of Diego's superpowers, obviously: cuddling.

"More than occasionally," Annie assured him, tucking herself close and pressing a kiss to his jaw. But yeah, she'd be kind of thinking about that him-picking-her-up thing all the time, now that the idea was in her head.
