MHA # 2 | Tuesday Afternoon

For all of his outward confidence, there was a little part of Diego that was nervous for Annie today. He knew she had everything to be part of a big superhero team, but her universe had some weird ideas of what a superhero should be. So, yes, he might have been doing some anxious pacing around the apartment waiting for her to get back.

At least with this audition over he could stop feeling guilty when he ate something that wasn't kale around her.

"Fuck," he murmured, very happy that he hadn't given up cursing for Lent. He managed to keep his hips still but he did reach out to slide a hand up over her shoulder. She was doing a very good job touching him, but he definitely felt the need to touch her too.

And touching her was totally, totally allowed. Encouraged, even.

Annie gave a happy hum -- probably interesting, given the placement of her mouth when she hummed -- and held onto Diego's hip a little tighter. He was doing a good job of holding still, yes, but it was important to her that he know she was also very purposely trying to hold him still. It was, after all, no secret that he liked it.

That got a louder noise out of Diego, his fingers curling a little harder into her shoulder. He squirmed a little, and felt a little shudder go down his spine when he realized he couldn't really move that much with the way she was holding on to him.

"Fuck--you are so good."

God, that was hot. Annie picked up her rhythm a little bit, giving another long, encouraging hum as she watched Diego closely.

She maintained her hold on his hip without all that much effort, rubbing her thumb in idle little strokes.

Diego let out a loud groan, his other hand scrambling to get a hold of the couch. He closed his eyes for a moment to just enjoy that feeling, but forced himself to open them again after a moment because just watching was almost enough to get him there.

Eventually he did manage to catch his breath enough to speak. "If you don't stop, I'm going to come."

Which might have been the point, but still.

It was absolutely the point, and Annie was actually willing to move to tell him so. "Good. Come for me," she replied softly, only pausing long enough to issue that statement before resuming what she'd been doing with perhaps even more enthusiasm.

Again, there would probably be mutual nudity later or something. She wasn't worried. Right now, she was really focused on Diego's pleasure, and making sure he understood exactly how much she appreciated him.

Christ, that was pretty much the hottest thing ever. Diego could feel his body tense up more and more as he felt himself get closer.

It was pretty obvious he was close, but he still managed to let out something that could be interpreted as a warning before he was coming with a loud moan, gripping Annie's shoulder tight.

Annie was thankful for that warning and stayed with him, the hand on his hip holding tight for a long few moments.

Eventually, Annie shifted back onto her heels and pressed a soft, gentle kiss to Diego's thigh before resting her cheek against it and smiling up at him.

She -- for the record -- looked incredibly pleased with herself.

Diego was of the opinion that she should look incredibly pleased with herself. He was looking at her like she was the most amazing person ever (which she was, in his opinion).

He'd tell her so, but he was having a trouble catching his breath. Instead he reached out to cup her face, running his thumb along her cheek.

Annie's smile softened a little as she turned her head to kiss his palm. A moment later, she made her way back up Diego's body and onto the couch, offering idle little touches and soft kisses to his stomach and chest and shoulder before she settled at his side.

"Think you'll live?" she murmured, teasing.

"It's up in the air," he said, leaning in for a kiss.

Annie smiled into the kiss, snuggling a little closer. "I'd say I'm sorry...." she replied, biting lightly at his lower lip.

But you know, she wasn't.

"Don't be," he said with a smile. "Now I get to tire you out."

Because, really, after this last week she deserved to sleep for, like, a month.

"If you think you can," Annie teased, lightly tracing her foot along his leg.

Because yeah, her exhaustion would catch back up with her, but Annie was no longer all that tired at the moment. Little keyed up for that.

But seriously, she was going to sleep so hard once she actually crashed.

"It's sort of a talent of mine," he said, sliding his hand up her thigh now that the room had stopped spinning.

"More than sort of," Annie assured him with a little smile, trailing her fingertips lightly along his arm. "I'd say you're usually kind of an expert."

Usually. She was just trying to rile him up a little with comments like that, yes.

"Are you suggesting I've lost my touch?" Diego asked, pretending to look offended.

[defenderofdesmoines]

"I'm suggesting you might be a little incapacitated," Annie replied playfully, shrugging a shoulder like she certainly wouldn't blame him if he was.

"We'll see if I'm incapacitated," he said, giving her a quick kiss. "Lie down."

Annie lifted her brows at him, but she complied, draping her legs across his lap as she stretched out on the couch.

"Bossy," she decided with a little smile, settling her head back against the arm of the couch.

"What do I get the feeling you like that as much as I do?" he teased, reaching for the edge of her pants so he could pull them off.

Because she obviously loved it.

Annie lifted her hips to assist, her face flushing a little in spite of how she was trying to play it off. "'Cause you're hot when you're bossy," she replied, her smile widening a bit.

Provided it was bossiness regarding something she wanted to do anyway, at least.

"It also usually means good things for you," he said, tossing that last bit of clothing aside. He settled himself between her legs, leaning in for another kiss. Now that he was a bit more clearheaded he could definitely take his time with this.

"You spoil me," Annie replied, arching up into the kiss and skimming her hands up his back. "Whether you're being bossy about it or not."

Because, like, most of the time, if Diego's attention was on her at all, it meant good things for her.

"I think I give you the correct amount of attention you deserve." Which was a lot of it. He ducked his head down to kiss her neck while he slid one of hands over her breast.
