75 Godiva Street | Late Morning

It had been a long and sleepless, but satisfying, 4 weeks with the twins at home. They were turning a month old on Friday, and Annie and Diego finally decided it was time for them to be introduced to the rest of the world. Diego would miss their little family bubble they had for a month, but he had to admit he was looking forward to talking to adults again.

They had sent texts out to various people inviting them over if they so wished (he was not about to force people to see his children), and ordered a pizza now that they were done with the healthy food Donna had supplied them with. The twins were dressed in cute outfits that they probably wouldn't put up with a couple months from now.

Of course Maggie immediately spit up on her little dress but he figured people were gonna have to get used to that like he had over the last couple weeks.

as much as I'd love to say we're going to be asleep at literally any point today, that's not really a guarantee -- come on over whenever! we're around! pizza might be a little cold but whatev.

The beauty of having twins was that those 'random awake baby' odds were doubled. Plus, let's be real -- they both deeply missed other grownups.

cold pizza never bothered me much, anyway. I'll try and swing by after work, then.

And, lo and behold, that is exactly what he did, bearing (lucky you!) a whole case of Cup NoodleTM for the busy couple when he came a-knocking.

What? New parents especially didn't need to sacrifice great taste and flavor for the sake of convenience! They could have it all in just one easy cup!

And when Annie got the door, it was with Maggie -- no longer in a dress or with her little bow, but maybe the pink onesie would be a tipoff as to which baby was lightly dozing against her mother's shoulder?

"Aw, Gladio, you don't even know how welcome that is right now," Annie sighed, genuinely grateful at the sight of all those dehydrated noodle cups.

"I might have an idea," Gladio said with a snort and a grin, "that's why I brought it. How you doin', Annie?"

Recognizing that dozing sleepiness on Maggie's face, he was keeping his voice nice and low and quiet.

"Kid's lookin' good. You haven't lost the other one already, though, have you?"

"Hey, man," Diego said, giving a wave with his now non-broken hand. The other arm was occupied with Ben. "Oh, wow, you're treating us right."

Everybody loved Cup Noodles. And Diego could make it without burning the house down so extra points for that.

Gladio found it so heartwarming to know that the Hargreeves household was a heartily Cup NoodleTM friendly one, and met that wave with a little flick of his own hand.

"Figured you guys could use some of the delicious convenient of Cup NoodleTM more than anyone right now," he explained proudly. "Couldn't decide on which of their many amazing, flavor-packed options to get for you, either, so I found a nice variety pack that should get you through the next week or so."

It was actually way more than a week's worth for most people, though Gladio could easily crush it in less than that.
