Diego was a pretty simple guy. He didn't require anyone to go all out for a bachelor party, which was why he was fairly confident Luther could pull it off without it being a complete disaster.

There was a bar. There was karaoke at said bar, and the added benefit of there being arcade games at said bar. Perfect way to get a bunch of dudes hammered the night before a good chunk of them had to leave on a trip overseas.

[For the dudes who better get off their ass and sing. ~~Hold for some OCD~~ We're good to go!]

Liquid courage before you sing.

Because who doesn't want to get into a drunken argument over Mario Kart?

Yes, this place was a fancy one with the Mario Kart on a big screen, you're welcome.

Mod away other stuff. Maybe you want to trip on the streets of Fells Point idk what you're into.

Diego didn't need booze to sing, but it certainly couldn't hurt. Besides this was his party, he'll get wasted if he wanted to.

Luther was very pleased with himself for planning this whole thing. If he had known how far the Maid of Honor had went for Annie's party, he'd be rightfully shamed, but right now he was going to bask in being a great Best Man.

And completely annihilating a plate of bar nachos at the same time.

MM was not here to get wasted before he sang -- he didn't need it -- but he was here nursing a beer and actually having an okay time (which was a real change of pace for him, lately.)

Maybe he needed to hang out with people who clearly showed they liked each other through their bickering, like the Hargreeves, and less with people who expressed their love through roofies and abuse, like Butcher.

Viktor was off towards the end of the bar, nursing a beer. He was happy to be there, but as per usual was a bit shy around new people. He knew he'd inevitably would be dragged to the stage, so he was focusing on what song he was going to choose to sing.

Frenchie did not need liquid courage, bien sûr, but he was here to ensure everyone else had some, anyway, after a brief chat with the bartender.

"Shots!" he called excitedly, bringing over enough shots for the whole group via two stretched hands. (There might have been some mild spilling. Also, great service, Frenchie.)

Had Five stolen a bottle of vodka from behind the bar after they'd been weird about serving what looked to be a teenager?

Yes. You're damn right he had.

"If you will not allow me to buy you several lap dances, mon ami," Frenchie told Diego, coming up to clap him on the shoulder, "then I'm afraid we must make up the difference with drinks."

Clearly MM had briefed him on the whole stripper expectation (read: none.) Though that being said, Frenchie had brought all kinds of fun offerings in his many pockets, too! But he'd start with drinks, since they were already in the bar and all.

Diego laughed. "I'll gladly take the drinks. Sorry about the stripper thing, I know you must be disappointed."

Klaus was here, and already well on his way to being drunk thanks to pregaming back at the house. And on the drive here. And this morning before everyone else woke up.

Whatever, it was a party, if there was ever a time to get sloppy...

"Please don't get me arrested." His name was on all the paperwork, any underage drinking busts would be pinned on him.

Frenchie waved a hand, though he did make a point to look very wistful. "It is your bachelor party," he pointed out, though he also managed to make it sound like Diego would, surely, come to regret the absence of many different sorts of strippers at this party. "When Monsieur Lait de la Mere was married, I was honored to handle things for him, and -- truly, I do not know if I could have outdone my past self's efforts, anyway."

"Shot?"

Frenchie 100% thought Five was the age he looked, yeah. He was still offering him a shot of whiskey, and had carefully positioned his own small body to block Five from the view of any curious bartenders.

Almost like he'd done this kind of thing before. A lot.

"I'm really not the sibling to worry about on that," Five replied, gesturing over at Klaus' general state of being.

"You know, after Herogasm I think I've had my fill of strippers," Diego said. "And people covered in lube. And public ass play."

"I can handle Klaus." No, no he could not. "You're the one that looks like a Von Trapp child."

"I will be forever filled with jealousy that I was not there," Frenchie told him, all but despondent over this fact. (They were still at a party. He was holding it together.) "MM and Annie would not tell me anything, can you believe it?"

What, the guy who'd gotten covered in thrown loads and the woman who'd walked in on The Deep getting a beej from an octopus hadn't been super sharey about Herogasm? Weird.

Steve had never sung karaoke sober and frankly, this was no time to be starting. So he ordered a round of tequila shots because it was a bachelor party and some things were classics for a reason.

You know what? This was a pretty good bachelor party.

And no one was getting shot at! Which, you know, for Danny's life was a win. Hawaii had just broken him, y'all.

"I think all the people dying during the party really brought the mood down." Yeah, that was why MM and Annie didn't want to go into details.

A second (or third?) round of shots? Why the hell not? "Great taste, man."

Tequila wasn't going to be great coming back up, but going down it was smooth!
