Diego was a pretty simple guy. He didn't require anyone to go all out for a bachelor party, which was why he was fairly confident Luther could pull it off without it being a complete disaster.

There was a bar. There was karaoke at said bar, and the added benefit of there being arcade games at said bar. Perfect way to get a bunch of dudes hammered the night before a good chunk of them had to leave on a trip overseas.

[For the dudes who better get off their ass and sing. ~~Hold for some OCD~~ We're good to go!]

Watts beamed at him, not quite drunk but clearly pleasantly buzzed. "M'good," he confirmed. "You? It's a lot of new people all at once." Which was usually what overwhelmed Watts, but given that for once he actually knew more people present than Steven did, he felt it best to check.

Steven noted Llewellyn's state and decided to pace himself so at least one of them could find their way home that night. (Especially since he'd never hear the end of it if the one in question turned out to be Marc.)

"All right so far," Steven said. "Met some nice people."

Of course Steven hadn't met everyone yet. Hopefully he wasn't jinxing himself to accidentally offend someone.

"You?" Steven asked.

Hey now, he wasn't planning on getting wasted... on the other hand, general unfamiliarity with modern cities still, so perhaps Steven had the right of it. Though he'd only had to tug him back from accidentally stepping into oncoming traffic once on their way over here.

"Mr- sorry, Monsieur Frenchie over there seems all right," Watts nodded towards him. A beat. "For a Frenchman."

Steven looked where Llewellyn indicated. He hadn't met Frenchie yet, though on the plus side they had at least two languages in common.

"He's not from the island, is he?" Steven asked. "I imagine he'd be handy for that holiday they're doing."

Watts shook his head. "Friend of Miss January's," he explained. "We should go to Paris sometime. City of light." He frowned. "... Wait." That didn't seem right.

"I'd love going to Paris with you." Steven wanted to brush his fingers against Llewellyn's hair but restricted himself to bumping shoulders again. "The museums. The wine."

It was a sign of Steven's love he remembered the wine.

"It's good wine," Watts agreed happily. "Good museums, too. I'm sure they've updated an exhibit or two since I've been last..."

Steven perked up at this information. "You've gone before then?"

Watts nodded. "...Five? Years ago, now?" he squinted, taking a moment to do the math. "Shortly after the fire." A beat. "In Toronto. Don't think they had one in Paris. Well. Probably small ones. Not a big one, I mean."

Steven was finding Llewellyn utterly charming like this. "Might have had a few in their time I think, yeah. I've gone before myself. Easy enough to hop over. But I've not gone with you and that makes all the difference, doesn't it?"

"It does," Watts said emphatically, leaning over to make a completely unnecessary adjustment to the collar of Steven's shirt. "We'll find the time, then."

"We'll add it to the list," Steven said. He reminded himself he wasn't allowed to kiss Llewellyn right now even though he wanted to. "Maybe after your home and mine."

Perhaps it was the amount of drink in him by now, or the fact that no one outside their party was paying any attention whatsoever to them, but impulsively Watts reached out- "You've got- something," he murmured, brushing a thumb against the corner of Steven's mouth. "There."

Much like with the collar, there was probably nothing.

It was a good thing Steven had willpower. Rapidly fading willpower perhaps, but at the moment it was there. "You're being wicked, Llewellyn Watts."

"Can't help what you inspire in me, Steven Grant."

Steven smiled. "You inspire me as well, Llew."

Handy how much meaning could be packed into a nickname.

Handy indeed. He did so love the way Steven said his name like that. "I'm starting another list," Watts told him.

"It's good you're keeping track of it all," Steven said. He reached out to brush imaginary lint off of Llewellyn's sleeve. "Keep me from getting lost that way, don't you?"

"That's my goal," Watts said with a fond smile.

"You did well with it this week," Steven said. Which was a little more serious than the conversation they'd just been having but it was worth saying all the same.

A little more serious, maybe, but reassuring to hear. "It wasn't too much?" he checked.

"Not at all too much," Steven said. He gave Llewellyn's arm a brief squeeze. "Kept me from getting lost, didn't you? Didn't run when you heard - heard what happened, did you? I'm very lucky to have you, Llew. I am."

That was the thing: Watts was all too used to being too demanding, too needy, too loud, too rude, too much. So that Steven had felt his concern earlier this week didn't fall under that umbrella was a relief.

"We're lucky to have each other," Watts countered.

Steven wasn't going to argue it. "Don't know how this week would've gone without you. Especially you there trying to take Marc home."

In fairness one of their other friends might have managed it but Llewellyn had been the one who stopped by at the right time. And the fact that he'd seen the need and done it counted a great deal.

"I wasn't about to leave him to manage on his own," Watts said, shaking his head. "Not in that state." Nor would any of the other people radio had mentioned, he was sure, had Marc been as badly off as he was by the time Watts had come across him.
