MHA # 2 | Tuesday Morning

Diego had meant to arrange stuff for Annie's birthday sometime last week, but had not predicted he'd be a cat for eleven days. So he was kind of scrambling this morning, between that and trying to catch up on the weird shit that had happened while he was of the feline persuasion.

He managed to sneak out early and go to J,GOB to pick up some cupcakes and found some leftover candles from his own birthday in a drawer. It wasn't, like, spectacular or anything, but it was the best he could do on short notice.

"Exactly," he said, pressing a kiss against her neck. "Plenty of time for a nap, a shower, possibly sex in the shower, and more cupcakes."

Okay, hearing him suggest a nap felt sort of like being granted permission to be so very drowsy and comfortable and lazy right now. And like, logically, Annie knew perfectly well that she had every right in the world to want a little morning nap after what her body had just (very happily) been through, but old habits still died hard.

"I'm gonna say definitely," she corrected with a yawn, loosening her leg around him so she could pull apart enough to snuggle comfortably and more long-term. "On the shower sex, I mean."

It was her birthday and that was what she wanted, so there. She'd be up for it after a nap. And maybe more cupcake sustenance.
