It had been a long and sleepless, but satisfying, 4 weeks with the twins at home. They were turning a month old on Friday, and Annie and Diego finally decided it was time for them to be introduced to the rest of the world. Diego would miss their little family bubble they had for a month, but he had to admit he was looking forward to talking to adults again.

They had sent texts out to various people inviting them over if they so wished (he was not about to force people to see his children), and ordered a pizza now that they were done with the healthy food Donna had supplied them with. The twins were dressed in cute outfits that they probably wouldn't put up with a couple months from now.

Of course Maggie immediately spit up on her little dress but he figured people were gonna have to get used to that like he had over the last couple weeks.

"Oh, yeah, pretty much good as new," Diego said, flexing his hand as if to prove that. "I had three fingers chopped off in March so breaking my hand wasn't bad compared to that."

Normal things that happened to people.

"And I got two cute kids out of it, so, worth it."

Steven blinked as he tried to remember if he'd known about Diego's fingers or not. Then he figured it didn't matter if the end result was the same. "I'm glad it all worked out then. Especially with the little ones. It'll be nice to meet them. I imagine they're very sweet."

"They're kind of little blobs right now but I see some personality peeking through more and more," Diego said with a proud smile. "Here, sit down, I'll get you a baby. Do you have a preference? They both actually look freakishly alike which is why we had to put a bow on Maggie for now."

Steven took the offered seat. "No preference at all. Whoever's up for company I suppose. I know it can be hard meeting strangers at all, let alone when you're small."
