It had been a long and sleepless, but satisfying, 4 weeks with the twins at home. They were turning a month old on Friday, and Annie and Diego finally decided it was time for them to be introduced to the rest of the world. Diego would miss their little family bubble they had for a month, but he had to admit he was looking forward to talking to adults again.

They had sent texts out to various people inviting them over if they so wished (he was not about to force people to see his children), and ordered a pizza now that they were done with the healthy food Donna had supplied them with. The twins were dressed in cute outfits that they probably wouldn't put up with a couple months from now.

Of course Maggie immediately spit up on her little dress but he figured people were gonna have to get used to that like he had over the last couple weeks.

"Pretty good so far, but I'm new," Annie noted with a light wink, angling herself so Maggie was looking -- "looking," given that her eyes didn't quite focus yet -- at Will. "This is Maggie. Say hi to Will, Maggie."

Will held out a finger to see if Maggie would grab on to it.

“Hi Maggie,” Will said to the baby. “You look healthy and happy, so in my professional opinion your parents must be doing a good job, new or not.”

Maggie totally snagged right onto that finger, looking a little amazed about it.

"Her brother is also pretty happy and healthy, if I say so myself," Annie shared, looking on that finger-grab with a proud smile. "I mean, as happy as they can be. This is pretty much the best time you can have with a kid this age."

Seriously, the finger-grab thing? A+ entertainment.

“Good reflexes too,” Will noted at that grab strength.

“… But I didn’t actually come
here to go all doctor on you,” he added sheepishly.
