A bar in Baltimore | Friday Night

Diego was a pretty simple guy. He didn't require anyone to go all out for a bachelor party, which was why he was fairly confident Luther could pull it off without it being a complete disaster.

There was a bar. There was karaoke at said bar, and the added benefit of there being arcade games at said bar. Perfect way to get a bunch of dudes hammered the night before a good chunk of them had to leave on a trip overseas.

[For the dudes who better get off their ass and sing. Hold for some OCD We're good to go!]

"I do." Steven gave Llewellyn's arm a squeeze. "Sort of like nothing could ever make it all the way good, but you being there made it better. All that time for me, even with us going away next week."

Steven gave a wry smile. "I really do think she would've liked you."

The version of her Steven knew, anyway.

Steven nodded, taking the comment as intended. "Maybe I'll tell you more about her some day."

Steven took another swallow of his beer as he realized that might be a stupid idea for any number of reasons.

"If you'd ever care to, I'll be there to listen," Watts said gently, covering one of Steven's hands with his own.

Steven lifted his hand up to press back against Llewellyn's touch. "Might only be stories but they're all I have."

It was clear that to Steven he was still struggling with the idea that they might only be stories.

"I do know a little of what that's like," Watts told him.

That got Steven to turn his hand over and lightly hold Llewellyn's in turn. "I'd like to hear whatever you want to talk about with your sister as well. No matter what it is. If ever you care to."

"Some day," Watts said, echoing Steven's earlier statement.

"Plenty of time to talk next week," Steven pointed out. "Not that it has to be that, of course. Mostly looking forward to having you to myself that long."

"We'll keep busy," Watts said, and then his grin turned a bit mischievous. "Though not too busy."

Steven gave a grin back in kind. "Sure of that? I had that sort of busy on my schedule, you see."

Considering one of their hotel rooms had a jacuzzi tub big enough to do laps in? Watts was counting on it.

"Penciled it in, did you?"

"Ink, I'm afraid," Steven said, with mock regret. "So no changing it, you see."

“You’re right, that is rather final,” Watts agreed solemnly.

"Has to be," Steven said. "You need that for the things that are important. Wouldn't want to forget them, would you?"

"Absolutely not," Watts said, grinning. "Good of you to make sure we set aside the time."

"Every day as well," Steven said. "So be sure you've made the time free so you don't miss it. Bit difficult doing it without you."

"Oh, absolutely. Wouldn't miss it for the world," Watts assured him. Though Steven's phrasing did present some very interesting mental images, there.

The light flush on Steven's face suggested he might be aware of what sorts of images he'd accidentally suggested. And that some of Llewellyn's mental images might not be inaccurate, depending on what he was imagining.

Watts did like the way Steven's face looked all flushed like that. Which is probably why he leaned over and offered a whispered description of one of those mental images in Steven's ear.

The heated way Steven looked at him indicated Llewellyn had guessed pretty close to accurately. But Steven kept his response to simply calling Llewellyn, "Wicked."
