Diego was a pretty simple guy. He didn't require anyone to go all out for a bachelor party, which was why he was fairly confident Luther could pull it off without it being a complete disaster.

There was a bar. There was karaoke at said bar, and the added benefit of there being arcade games at said bar. Perfect way to get a bunch of dudes hammered the night before a good chunk of them had to leave on a trip overseas.

[For the dudes who better get off their ass and sing. ~~Hold for some OCD~~ We're good to go!]

Diego didn't need booze to sing, but it certainly couldn't hurt. Besides this was his party, he'll get wasted if he wanted to.

"If you will not allow me to buy you several lap dances, mon ami," Frenchie told Diego, coming up to clap him on the shoulder, "then I'm afraid we must make up the difference with drinks."

Clearly MM had briefed him on the whole stripper expectation (read: none.) Though that being said, Frenchie had brought all kinds of fun offerings in his many pockets, too! But he'd start with drinks, since they were already in the bar and all.

Diego laughed. "I'll gladly take the drinks. Sorry about the stripper thing, I know you must be disappointed."

Frenchie waved a hand, though he did make a point to look very wistful. "It is your bachelor party," he pointed out, though he also managed to make it sound like Diego would, surely, come to regret the absence of many different sorts of strippers at this party. "When Monsieur Lait de la Mere was married, I was honored to handle things for him, and -- truly, I do not know if I could have outdone my past self's efforts, anyway."

"You know, after Herogasm I think I've had my fill of strippers," Diego said. "And people covered in lube. And public ass play."

"I will be forever filled with jealousy that I was not there," Frenchie told him, all but despondent over this fact. (They were still at a party. He was holding it together.) "MM and Annie would not tell me anything, can you believe it?"

What, the guy who'd gotten covered in thrown loads and the woman who'd walked in on The Deep getting a beej from an octopus hadn't been super sharey about Herogasm? Weird.

"I think all the people dying during the party really brought the mood down." Yeah, that was why MM and Annie didn't want to go into details.

"And now there will never be another Herogasm," Frenchie noted, very sad. He held up a hand, gesturing as though something were blowing away, out of reach. "I have missed my chance for all time. My bucket list -- forever incomplete, now."

"There will be other orgies, Frenchie," Diego said. "I promise you."

"But not Herogasm," Frenchie noted with a sigh. He would, sincerely, probably always be like this when it came to Herogasm, alas. "Even if we are not celebrating with strippers, I am very happy for you, Diego. So soon!"

He and Kimiko had been practicing their dance steps for a week already.

"Yep," he said with the stupid grin he had been sporting lately whenever anyone mentioned the wedding. "Hope Butcher and Hughie aren't giving you too much grief over it."

"Butcher," which, if you looked for it, was a step down from Monsieur Charcutier, "I am afraid, does not seem to care much." Or at least was pretending he didn't care, but -- no, honestly, he probably really didn't care about not being invited to this wedding. He liked Diego fine, but he still was no Starlight fan. "But Hughie has been...."

Frenchie searched for a word before settling on, "Pathétique. I have told him three times now not to text you or Annie. Kimiko is watching movies with him tonight."

Because Kimiko was too damn nice sometimes.

"That's...really nice of her." Too nice, really. "Annie said she seemed to enjoy the bachelorette? Probably her first one, right?"

"This is also the first wedding she's been to," Frenchie confirmed, nodding. "Kimiko is new to...many things."

If it had not somehow already been clear.

"Who do I blame for teaching her about jello shots?" he added, really Frenching the shit out of the J in jello.

"That would be the Maid of Honor," Diego said immediately. "She'll be the redhead walking down the aisle with the giant gorilla man."

"They are her new favorite thing," Frenchie sighed, half-despairing. "All I have heard about for the last week is how much more she likes jello than 'real alcohol.'"

Word, Kimiko.

Also, that was clearly a figurative 'heard.'

"I've had Summer's jello shots," Diego said. "And let me assure you there's tons of real alcohol in it. It's just hidden under, like, Lucky Charms."

"I may need to talk to her at the wedding, then," Frenchie decided. "See if she is willing to share some recipes."

Oh, God.
