Nothing new, but it's nice to have everybody under one post. And I have the time seeing I'm the only one in the office.
Wanda Maximoff
- From the MCU, specifically after the events of WandaVision
- Which means she is waaaaay ahead of the other MCU people canon-wise, in the way off year of 2023.
- Her history is basically trauma, trauma, and more trauma.
- She speaks with an American accent but is from the fictional (now partially destroyed) country of Sokovia. She'll slip into it when the plot calls for it (like it does in Dr. Strange 2? What are we doing?).
- Accidentally-kind-of trapped an entire town in her own alternate reality based off the sitcoms she watched as a child. She feels really bad about it.
- Now she is in Fandom, working at a magic shop and trying to learn more about her powers. There is a 12 foot skeleton named Jeff outside the shop year-round BTW.
- I decided she really likes Halloween.
- As stated above, Wanda is a pretty friendly, secretly goofy, person. She can have a bit of a temper and has an exaggerated sense of revenge, much like John Wick.
Wanda was exposed to the Mind Stone which not only gave her cool powers, it amplified the chaos magic powers she was born with! This includes:
- Energy blasts, telekinesis, force-field generation, flight, mental manipulation, and telepathy
- Wait, there's more! Her chaos magic allows spontaneous creation, reality manipulation, teleportation, transmutation, energy absorption and astral projection. It's a lot!
- She's untrained, but can cast spells and runes and that is what she is in Fandom to learn (which will come with some consequences probably because Wanda can't have nice things as far as the MCU/Reddit is concerned).
- When using her powers there will be red vapor/mist coming from her hands, and often her irises will glow red as well. Her powers are reliant on her focus and movement, so she can be stopped by someone physically restricting her or distracting her .
John Silver
- Your friendly neighborhood pirate
- Is from Black Sails where people are generally scared of him, but you wouldn't know it here
- Missing his left leg from the knee down, but is usually wearing a prosthetic and long pants. Does walk with a slight limp
- Works at the Devil's Nest on Sundays
- Datingthatwaslucky and occasionally helps her out with space things. Which makes him a space pirate.
- His superpower is repressing anything that even slightly bothers him and moving on with his day
- He needs to meet more people, I know this.
Diego Hargreeves
- From The Umbrella Academy, where he is a member of the aforementioned Umbrella Academy
- One of seven children. Five of his siblings are now lost to space and time.
-apocalypsehow is one of those siblings. They get along great! No embarrassing fights in public or tranq guns or anything.
- A hot-headed himbo
- He's got superpowers! Has the ability to manipulate the trajectory of anything he throws, and will eventually be able to manipulate and stop the trajectory of bullets. The more time he spends with his siblings the more power he gets.
- Has been trained to fight since birth, and is very agile and now is even *better* at fancy flips and twirls thanks to hanging out with his siblings.
- Dating the lovelydefenderofdesmoines and they are disgusting and I love them.
- One of your local law enforcement.
- I can't wait for season three to air. Or to play out season two IG. I AM EXCITED.
Evan Buckley…call him Buck
- Is from the Fox show 9-1-1, which follows several branches of emergency services. Buck belongs to the 118 firefighter squad.
- He takes his job very seriously. Like, he breaks down if it's suggested that he might not be a firefighter and he might sue you for suggesting it.
- For the most part he is a very easygoing, idiot savant of a himbo
- Can't do math, but has a deep knowledge of natural disasters after surviving a tsunami to the face.
- Just one of the nicest dudes. Sometimes his mouth runs away from him but it comes from the heart.
- Is also pretty buff. He actually passed the physical portion to become a SEAL, but was too emotional for the job in the end.
- He also has a distinctive birthmark over one eye. He's heard all of the jokes about it, and it doesn't bother him
- Kind of wants an emergency to happen. A tiny one!
Sam
- Work in construction but not, like, building shit myself so I can ping from work fairly quickly. Even when I say I'll be slow, I'm actually not that slow.
- However, I tend to drop off after the work day. If I dropped something 'cause I got deep into post-work video games feel free to nudge me via e-mail or on discord! Or if you want my people involved in your plots/posts just point me where to go and I will be there
- I don't talk much but I'm always watching Wazowski, always watching. So if you tag me in something I'll see it (I'm samburgler on most things).
- For the last 4 months I have been marathoning the Chicago One shows and I have less than 200 episodes left. Who assigned this job to me? No one, I just like completing odd goals while my life falls apart around me.
